Today I had 3 lesson observations before lunch - all of them linked to performance management.
If you had told me even a year ago that I would encounter this sort of situation I would have been thrown into a state of panic. But not today.
I genuinely didn’t do anything different - I just taught my lesson as I had planned it. No data, no seating plan, no lesson plan, nothing extra.
Just a member of SLT sitting in the back of my lessons, singing along with the classes.
This is what all lesson observations should look like - just observing learning, as it always happens.
